Words. Wisdom. Winners.

How to change your past

The past was bitter.
Very bitter.
It almost killed you.

But you know what? You can actually change your past.

By changing the meaning of those painful memories.
By choosing to define those memories in the way you want to define them.
By choosing to live in the present by a version of the past that suits you, not the one that kills you.

The past is an option. Something that needs to be carried to the future :)

Encouragement

A legacy all parents must give to their kids.

Not money.
Not facilities.
Not even a lot of time.

Rather encouragement, because that fills up their mind for the rest of their lives.

Encouragement is the fuel that fills up all wells of an individual when grown up, even when they are still a kid.

No one knows all the answers

But what you can do is listen.

Listen to those who ask you questions.
Listen to yourself.
Listen to everything that is being said.
And what is not said.

No one knows all the answers. But what we certainly know is to get to a process of getting there. By showing up to listen. And caring. And that’s the best thing we could do, to get to an answer.

What next?

I don’t know what’s next.

No next move.
No next milestone.
Certainly no next goal.

Just the process.
Show up every day.
Get better with quality every single day.

And the results will eventually show you what’s next.

Nothing’s next. Just the next process.

There is no time

There is very little time to spend with your parents.
There is very little time to hang around with friends.
There is very little time to spend with your spouse.

Your work is NOT your life. It does not deserve your 110% of your life.

Spend time with things that matter. Because one day things that matter won’t be there, to spend time with.

Spend time with your own self

Get to know yourself better.
Fall in love with yourself.
Give yourself the attention you give to others.

Being surrounded by people is good. Just that it isn’t the basis of your existence.
However, there is no basis of your existence if you do not spend time with yourself.

You don’t need more people.
You just need one person – who can give you all that you deserve.

For the audience

Sometimes the same content I post is packaged differently – for different audience.

Because, I want to serve my audience better.

Just like our teachers in nursery knew sentences.
However, they taught us through pictures and letters.

The truth is, to know is not enough.
To be able to unlearn what you know, and then to give what is needed, is the right way.

Problems at work

Everyone has problems at work.

Even those who love their work.

The thing worth finding isn’t a problem-free job. The thing worth finding is a problem that you’d want to sign up for.

Truth

There is a wariCrew Anonymous Form in my team – where anyone can ask me any questions, without sharing their name.

It helps me (and a lot others) – by knowing the questions that are there on the minds of others.
Helps everyone see my response.
And the person who wants to retain anonymity, retains so!

Win-win-win.

Care about the truth. Not the source of it.

I’m a teacher

I am usually quite happy when people find my content repetitive.

Hear me out.

I am a teacher.
My job is to teach a grade, a way of thinking, and establish a foundation.
Think of it like a curriculum.

If at any point of time my content sounds repetitive to you, then congratulations, you have graduated!
You should now move on to a higher grade of learning.
Expand your world, beyond what I have to offer.

For me, I intend to speak about the same things again and again.
There are 300M Indians who will join the workforce this decade.
I am creating for them.

When they find the one thing they had been looking for, and that helps them make better decisions in life, the teacher would have appeared :)
